Display Star portable hybrid display wins top award

Terrence Niedermeyer, President of Display Star, is proud to announce that Streamit of Bend, Ore., won two awards at the recent National Speakers Association (NSA) Influence ’11 Conference in Anaheim, Calif. The annual conference attracts public speakers as well as vendors from the industries that support them from all over the US and Canada.

Streamit walked away with the “Best Traffic Stopper Award” and “Exhibitors’ Choice Award” for their new portable hybrid display. This eye-catching booth was a blend of dye sublimation on a brushed aluminum 20-foot booth with three flat screen monitors.

“Working with clients like Streamit is always a pleasure,” said Niedermeyer. “When Kathryn walked into our office she had specific needs for her booth and several design ideas. Our design staff helped her narrow her decision down to a 20-foot portable hybrid tradeshow display with dye sublimated fabric graphics that was capable of holding a 50-inch plasma screen and two smaller monitors.  We knew they were happy with their choice when we showed them the completed booth at our Beaverton, Ore., headquarters, but when we received notice from them of winning two awards at the NSA conference, we knew we had a very happy client.”

The selection and design of the booth was an orchestrated effort on the part of Jeff Coffey, CEO and founder of Streamit, along with senior VP of marketing at Streamit, Kathryn Shimabukuro. Their vision was then executed by the graphic designers and engineers at Display Star to make this an award-winning display.

“Streamit is a software platform that provides content owners an all-in-one, easy to use ecommerce storefront to promote, protect and sell video and digital content online,” said Coffey. “As a young company, Streamit chose a national conference to publically launch their software.  In preparation, Streamit spent weeks searching for a partner that understood their message and could help create the right first impression; Display Star was just the right company.”
