Design & Construction Week converges five leading shows in Las Vegas

Las Vegas Market announced on Sept. 18 that its Winter 2015 edition, scheduled Jan. 18-22, is timed to coincide with the second annual Design & Construction Week (DCW). Expected to be the largest-ever residential construction and housing exposition in the nation in 2015, the collaboration will bring together five of the leading design and construction industry tradeshows in Las Vegas.

The first-ever convergence of these events will offer new cross-market opportunities to Las Vegas Market buyers and suppliers. Registered attendees will have access to all five shows held during Design & Construction Week.

“Las Vegas Market, together with these other established events, will offer our vendors and visitors the ultimate synergistic shopping experience,” said Robert Maricich, CEO, International Market Centers. “This synchronization of tradeshows and markets will have direct benefits for our furniture and home furnishings suppliers and buyers, as well as indirect benefits for our related home décor and gift audience.”

During Design & Construction Week, Las Vegas Market, the most comprehensive furniture, home décor and gift show in the western U.S., will co-locate with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders Show (IBS); the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS); the International Window Coverings Expo (IWCE); and The International Surface Event (TISE), made up of SURFACES, StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas and TileExpo.

Particularly well suited to the needs of the interior design trade, the synergistic marketplace fulfills interior designer needs with products connected to the building process to finishings such as window coverings, home furnishings and home décor. This attendance category has increased by 76 percent at Las Vegas Market since 2012.
Synchronization of these industry-leading tradeshows will give builders, retailers and interior designers the ability to shop the widest range of resources available as well as convenient access to services such as shared registration badges and shuttle service among venues.
