Derse names new executive vice president

Derse, a complete face-to-face marketing agency, has promoted its former corporate vice president to executive vice president.

In his new role, Brett Haney oversees all of Derse’s six U.S. divisions as well as its international group and events team. He is responsible for leading Derse’s continuous improvement initiatives, ongoing employee training, and worldwide operations and production. All of Derse’s divisional vice presidents and corporate Operations teams report to him.

Prior to joining Derse, Haney spent six years as co-founder and co-owner of HSI Properties LLC, a real estate development and investment company. With Haney’s guidance, HSI received several awards for innovation and excellence in real estate development. Haney was also honored as one of Milwaukee Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2010 recognizing Haney as one of the top young business leaders in Southeast Wisconsin.

Earlier in Haney’s career, he was a senior development coordinator at MLG Real Estate Development, and acted as project manager for developments in Wisconsin and Florida. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
