Cvent names ARIA in Las Vegas top meeting resort

Cvent, an industry leader specializing in meetings management technology, named ARIA Resort & Casino the top meeting resort in North America.

In addition, four of ARIA’s sister properties in Las Vegas earned their way into the Top 10: Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay and The Mirage. These properties, all part of MGM Resorts International – one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, provide a portfolio of amenities and meeting spaces.

“This wonderful honor is a testament to our commitment to providing the highest levels of service and expertise within the meetings industry,” said Tony Yousfi, vice president of sales, ARIA. “ARIA offers cutting-edge, high-tech meeting capabilities; extraordinary hospitality for convention and business travelers; and an eco-conscious environment for all of its guests. A special thank you goes out to the meeting planner community for their trust in us at ARIA and allowing us to be partners in their programs.”

Cvent recognized the top resorts based on the Cvent Supplier Network, an online platform connecting corporate meeting and event planners with more than 218,000 resorts internationally. In addition to evaluating meetings-booking activity, the Top 100 were determined by third-party reviews, the number of rooms booked throughout the year, resort amenities, consumer scores, total requests for proposals and awarded requests for proposals. This year’s list represents Cvent’s third annual selection of the Top 100 Most Popular Meeting Resorts in North America and the Caribbean.

“The meetings industry is vital to the success of MGM Resorts International, our properties and Las Vegas, so I am thrilled to see several of our world-renowned resorts recognized as the very best meeting destinations. As leaders in this industry, part of our role is to develop the most dynamic, effective meeting environments so our meeting professionals can accomplish their goals. We are able to achieve this for every size group from large conventions to small board meetings. It is exciting to see Vegas dominate the list as Vegas really does ‘Mean Business!” said Mike Dominguez, senior vice president of sales, MGM Resorts International.

Located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, ARIA provides a meeting experience with its unique blend of modern architecture, distinctive décor and 300,000 square feet of technologically advanced meeting and convention space. The resort offers a superior convention setting with three levels of 38 meeting rooms and four ballrooms capable of accommodating gatherings up to 5,000 people.
