CORT Event Furnishings has teamed up with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) on behalf of the Desert Willow Treatment Facility in Las Vegas to make the holiday season for 40 children a little brighter.
“For over 40 years, CORT has been committed to supporting the communities where we operate,” said Steve Peck, director of national sales, CORT Event Furnishings. “Our amazing sales team wanted to continue that tradition this year by making the holidays a little brighter for 40 children at Desert Willow Treatment Facility. I couldn’t be more proud of our team.”
The CORT team donated company funds intended for holiday activities to instead purchase some much-needed items for the special children. The team toured the treatment facility on Dec. 11 and loaded up the CORT “Wish List” bus. The CORT sales team then transported the gifts to the Ronald McDonald House Charities location in Las Vegas.
The Desert Willow Treatment Facility, a state-run facility located in Las Vegas, provides individualized mental health services in a safe and culturally sensitive environment collaborating with caregivers, community and other providers to ensure children and families in Nevada may achieve their full human potential.
CORT Event Furnishings is a provider of furnishings for the exhibit and events industry. CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, also provides rental furniture to tradeshows and conferences in Canada.
