Chicago kicks off EDPA RoadShow 2014

Chicago kicks off the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association (EDPA) RoadShow 2014 on Jun. 5 at the Itasca Country Club. This one-day event will feature informative sessions and networking opportunities. Attendees will leave with ideas and inspiration that will help them and their business throughout the year!

Event speakers include Richard P. Farrell, president of Tangent Knowledge Systems and Jason Metz, founder of Brand influencers.

Having responsible for sales and business development for nearly 25 years, Farrell brings a tremendous depth of experience and results to his audiences. His passionate, provocative and interactive style encourages audience participation, learning and improvement while providing practical, usable “time tested” information. He stresses a non-selling posture that allows the sales person to play the role of a “change agent” rather than a product-centric transactional sales person.

For the past 10 years, Metz has been at the forefront of marketing’s “new media” revolution. Having helped create digitally live campaigns for the likes of Porsche, P&G, Forever21 and Adidas, he developed a marketing methodology rooted in social behavioral intelligence and centered on the premise that consumers demand contextual experiences with the brands they’re passionate about. Through this realization, Metz founded Brand Influencers in 2010. His consultancy helps brands and their agency partners aggregate and analyze real-time behavioral intelligence about their target audience(s), segment their audience(s) base on trending passions and motivational tendencies, and create holistically integrated marketing strategy that leverages influencers, new media, ongoing social listening and analysis, and a process he calls Contextual Disruption.
