inVNT, a live events agency that supports brand messaging for companies and trade associations, was been chosen by Chevrolet to unveil their newest model, the Chevrolet Trailblazer, at the Dubai International Motor Show, which took place November 10-14, 2011, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. inVNT partnered with Chevrolet to execute the automotive brand’s press conference, directing the development of all creative elements, including the scenic design, message development, speaker graphics and accompanying videos.
“The Dubai International Motor Show is not only an important event for the Middle East region, but also for the global automotive industry,” said Samer El Kahlil, GM’s regional communications manager for Middle East Operations. “It was critical that our Trailblazer press conference make an impressive impact for its world debut. Without inVNT’s global experience and creative approach, we would have had a difficult time creating a memorable experience that properly reached our global media audience.”
In addition to managing local in-country suppliers and contractors, inVNT collaborated with Chevrolet and the Dubai World TradeCentre to secure permission to dynamically drive the new Chevrolet Trailblazer during the press conference, a first for the Dubai International Motor Show.
“Press conferences at motor shows are traditionally hectic affairs. Each automotive brand is usually granted only 15 minutes to effectively communicate its messages and introduce its new products,” said Jerry Deeney, executive producer for inVNT. “Our creative approach helped the Chevrolet Trailblazer stand out and capture the public’s interest in this exciting new sport utility.”
