Champion Exposition Services, a provider of event marketing services for tradeshows and corporate events, has announced the addition of two industry veterans to its Las Vegas team.
“We are excited about two industry veterans joining the Champion Las Vegas team,” said Nora Summers, vice president, account management at Champion Exposition Services. “The skills and experience that they bring will ensure that Champion can continue to expand its operations to serve one of the most popular conference and trade show destination cities in the world.”
Tambi Eagle is a new sales manager based in the Las Vegas office. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the tradeshow and hospitality industry, most recently at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, where she worked for eight years. She has held various positions including convention services and executive meetings. She previously worked at The Davenport Hotel and The Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. In her new role at Champion, she will work closely with the sales, account management and operations teams drive new sales and educate current customers on new products and services.
Joe Denstaedt joins Champion as Director of Operations based the Las Vegas office. He will oversee event operations in Las Vegas, Denver, Reno and Salt Lake City. Prior to joining Champion, Denstaedt worked at Freeman since 1998 in a variety of positions including custom booths, exhibit systems department, and most recently, as an operations supervisor. In that role, he was involved in producing several full facility events at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Sands Expo, and Mandalay Bay Convention Center, as well as many smaller events in the local market.
Champion’s expansion of its Las Vegas team is part of its longer term investment strategy and evolving business model in the experiential events industry. Earlier this year, Champion announced the expansion of its Las Vegas warehouse facility, located about a mile from the major hotels and conference centers on the Las Vegas strip.
