NatureXhibits recently promoted the environmentally-minded Yokohama Tire Corporation by displaying a natural biodegradable promotional display at the Concours d’Elegance classic car celebration in Pebble Beach.

The award winning technology, created by NatureXhibits in Laguna Beach, Calif., allows exhibitors at tradeshows to use living plants instead of printed materials. They consist of a wall of vegetation that is decorative and tells a meaningful story behind each client’s brand messaging.

“We are always looking for ways to reduce waste and help the environment,” says Takao Oishi, Yokohama’s president and CEO. “The living wall exhibit provides us a perfect opportunity. It is a fresh, natural and visually dynamic way to have a display, and the breathtaking Pebble Beach Concours is the ideal setting for it. It really fit in with the pristine surroundings.”

With an established, nationwide network of growers, the NatureXhibits proprietary living wall technology can be grown anywhere in the U.S. for ease of logistics.

“We provide exhibitors like Yokohama the ability to replicate company logos in 3D using lush, oxygen-producing plants,” said Scott Hutcheon, president of NatureXhibits. “It’s a perfect way to attract a crowd with something that looks spectacular, is living and is recyclable.”

The Vertical Exhibit Garden (VEG) is a vertical plant technology developed by NATUREXHIBITS tm to supplement traditional print media at trade shows and events with live plants. These exhibits can mimic logos and company branding with fine detail. They can cover a vertical surface, curves, 3 dimensional objects and even the ceiling with living plant material. Within an industry that is known for being wasteful, NATUREXHIBITSTM provides a new design medium that provides big impact and creates nearly zero waste.
