After nearly eight years, Rabbit in a Hat Communications, a Cape Town-based PR company, is handing over public relations management of Cape Town Tourism in South Africa to a new agency. As of July 13, Irvine Bartlett, a full service public relations firm, will serve as the media liaison for the City of Cape Town’s official regional tourism organization, responsible for destination marketing, visitor and industry services.
“Through World Cup’s and tourism booms, accolades and adventures, economic downturns, visa shenanigans, funny moments and the stories of the real heroes – the people of Cape Town and its tourism industry – we have so enjoyed working with you on this account,” stated Sascha Polkey, director, Rabbit in a Hat Communications.
Rabbit in a Hat Communications will continue to work as communicators for a number of other tourism products and destinations in and around Cape Town.
