Brightbox introduces mobile charging platform to retailers

Brightbox Inc., the leading platform provider of networked, safe and secure mobile device charging, announced the new Brightbox Mark3 Mobile Charging Platform to be introduced to retailers at National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Annual Convention and Expo, scheduled for Jan. 11-14 at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

Nicknamed “Retail’s BIG Show,” it is the retail industry’s flagship tradeshow, conference and exposition entirely dedicated to all things retail.

“The Brightbox customizable and secure mobile device charging amenity is a great benefit for retailers who can earn revenue through sponsorship and advertising via the Brightbox brand messaging platform,” said Billy Gridley, CEO, Brightbox. “Mobile devices are an intrinsic part of daily life, including shopping. Consumers use them to research products, comparison shop, receive coupons and special deals, and stay connected and informed via social media. In-store dwell times are substantially greater with Brightbox as shoppers can linger longer, knowing they can charge their phones at any time for as long as necessary.”

“We’re pleased to be at NRF’s Big Show enhancing the attendee experience,” said Don Rossi, senior vice-president of sales, Brightbox. “Event professionals use their mobile devices for just about everything at conferences and having the Brightbox solution available for their onsite charging needs will keep them delighted, charged and engaged.”
