The Anaheim Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau recently hired a new marketing director. This new employee will be responsible for the Bureau’s analytics.
Steve Rathje, the new marketing director, will also assume responsibility for the day-to-day project management efforts including advertising, direct mail, destination and attendee marketing and more.
“Steve has a proven track record of maximizing the use of marketing analytics to increase the reach and effectiveness of marketing projects while minimizing costs,” said Christine Locke, vice president of marketing, Anaheim Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau. “We are looking forward to taking our upcoming initiatives to the next level for a busy and prosperous 2012 and beyond.”
Rathje has over 12 years of professional experience as a marketer. The majority of his career has been spent helping direct the marketing efforts of private corporations such as Action Wholesale Products Inc., and Allied Business Schools Inc.
“I look forward to helping the AOCVCB continue the growth it has experienced for the last 50 years,” said Rathje. “Increasing awareness of the Anaheim Orange County area, as well as creating new marketing opportunities for our bureau partners to succeed, will be my on-going priorities.
