2015 ECEF educational program announced

Lippman Connects, producer of the Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum (ECEF), announced the 2015 educational program.

In making the announcement, President and Founder Sam Lippman said “I applied all of my experience into crafting this program to be fresh, exciting, and full of actionable ideas.”

Attendance is limited to 200 CEOs, presidents, executive directors, and vice presidents from associations and independent event-producing organizations.ECEF 2015 will take place May 27, 2015, at the JW Marriott in Washington, D.C.

Renowned for unmatched top-to-top networking, ECEF activities begin with a Networking Reception on the evening of Tuesday, May 26. Ample networking breaks punctuate a full day of C-level programming on Wednesday, May 27:

8:15 AM Opening Keynote: Scott Schenker, General Manager, Events and Production Studios, Microsoft Marketing

9:15 AM Show Floor Synergy — Gene Sanders, Senior Vice President, Trade Shows at SPI will moderate a session using NPE 2015 as a case study in creating exhibit and special interest areas via collaboration with other organizations.

10:55 AM Winning Strategies to Grow Your Event — Lori Anderson, President & CEO, International Sign Association, explains how her team uses private sector strategies from The 4 Disciplines of Execution to increase their show’s value.

11:50 AM Networking Lunch

1:00 PM Is Sustainability a Must in the Exhibition Industry? — Glenn Hansen, President & CEO, BPA Worldwide, and a panel of international event executives will address green standards for venues, supply chains and organizers. They will explain what is happening inside and outside the USA, who is leading and who is lagging, and demonstrate the importance of sustainability process to the future of your event.

2:00 PM Attendee Acquisition and Exhibit Sales Success Strategies — Sam Lippman, President, Lippman Connects, will share best practices and trends in attendee acquisition and exhibit and sponsorship sales. All data is from Exhibit Surveys research and Lippman Connects Roundtables.
